Public transport

Public transport in the city is provided by Magdeburger Verkehrsbetriebe.

Tram Connections to the Conference Venue:

The tram lines 1, 4, 6, 9 und 10 will take you to the Opernhaus stop stop closest to the Humanities Campus. Lines 1, 4 and 6 also run via the main railway station. From the Opernhaus stop, it is a short walk (approx. 5 minutes) to the conference venue. Bus line 73 also runs in an east-west direction to the venue (stop Walther-Rathenau-Straße).

Tickets:

Tickets can be purchased at MVB sales outlets, from ticket machines, on MVB buses and trains, and via the easy.GO- oder die DB-Navigator app.

Single fare: EUR 2.50; valid for 60 minutes after validation. Change only possible in the direction of travel. Can be purchased from ticket vending machines on the train
Short-distance ticket: EUR 1.60; valid from boarding to the third stop
24h-ticket: EUR 6,00; valid from validation 24h on all lines
4-trip ticket: EUR 7.60
Mini-group day ticket (for a maximum of 5 persons): EUR 15.50
