Arrival by plane
Magdeburg does not have its own airport. The nearest ones are located at
- Berlin (BER)
- Hanover (HAJ)
- Leipzig/Halle (LEJ)
If you are travelling on intercontinental flights, you will most probably arrive either in Berlin, in Frankfurt (FRA) or in Munich (MUC). In any case, you have to take a train from all of these airports to Magdeburg. Train tickets can be bought at the Deutsche Bahn website.
